Copyright Registration Template for a Musical Work
Standard registration for an original song -- composition + lyrics.
When to use this template: Use when registering an original song's COMPOSITION (the underlying musical work + lyrics). If you also want to register the SOUND RECORDING (the specific performance + production), file a separate copyright -- they're distinct works under U.S. law.
